NEWTOWN, PA — Colin G. Miller, PhD, founder and managing partner of The Bracken Group, a life sciences consultancy based in Newtown, Pennsylvania, has been named to the board of the International Society on Osteoarthritis Imaging (ISOAI).
Based in Boston, Mass., the ISOAI exists to coordinate, promote, and foster the advancement of scientific research and clinical practice in osteoarthritis imaging, a discipline that is critical to both the diagnosis and management of the disease.
Dr. Miller is an expert in medical imaging who has been providing consulting to biopharmaceutical and device companies for more than 30 years. He is the author or co-author of more than 70 peer-reviewed articles and has published three books. He holds three patents.
A native of the United Kingdom, Dr. Miller completed his undergraduate degree in Physiology and Zoology at the University of Sheffield and his PhD through the University of Hull. He has held positions at Syntex Research, Proctor & Gamble Pharmaceuticals, Bona Fide Ltd. and was Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at BioClinica. He founded The Bracken Group in 2018.
Dr. Miller is a fellow of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (UK) and a Chartered Scientist (UK).
