Executive Summary

Chanelle Hunter (PhD, PMP) is a Project Manager on The Bracken Group’s Consulting & Regulatory team, bringing a research-grounded background in life sciences with deep specialization in medical imaging and PET imaging probe development.

She earned her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where her doctoral research — under Dr. Benjamin Larimer — focused on engineering novel chemokine- and mycobacterium-targeted PET imaging probes to monitor immune responses in oncology and tuberculosis. Her work on CXCR3-targeted probes earned a 1st Place Presentation Award at the STEMNoire Research Conference (2023), and her research collaborations have produced publications in journals including Pharmaceutics and Molecular Pharmaceutics.

At Bracken, Chanelle coordinates multidisciplinary imaging and radiopharmaceutical projects across cross-functional teams — pairing scientific rigor with regulatory awareness to keep complex programs organized, compliant, and moving forward. She also holds a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida, where she was a McNair Scholar and Women’s Executive Council Scholarship recipient.

Areas of Expertise

PET Imaging Probe Development

Engineering novel antibody- and peptide-based PET imaging probes through bioconjugation and radiolabeling to create clinically relevant imaging agents.

Oncology PET Imaging

Molecular imaging approaches for predicting and monitoring therapeutic response in oncology, including immune-checkpoint and combination therapies.

Tuberculosis PET Imaging

Mycobacterium-targeted imaging probes and PET techniques for monitoring immune response and disease activity in tuberculosis.

Radiopharmaceuticals

Development and evaluation of radiolabeled imaging agents, including Zr-89 nanobody and chemokine-receptor–targeted tracers.

Immune Response Monitoring

Imaging-based monitoring of immunological response — including granzyme B and CXCR3 — to support personalized-medicine strategies.

Project Management in Consulting

Coordinating multidisciplinary life-science projects and cross-functional teams while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables.
